Discover the Cane Corso 2008
The Cane Corso Discovery Day took place on Sunday 03 August 2008 at My Pet Stop in Manchester.
The day was an overwhelming success, with many owners, breeders and enthusiasts in attendance.
It was also the launch of the British Cane Corso Society, a Society created to safeguard the future of this wonderful race. There was a great turnout, with many examples of Cane Corso on display, both imported from Italy and homegrown in the UK.
Professor Alberto Vergara's seminar on the Cane Corso was informative and very interesting and was food very much for thought.
The FOCC would like to thank both Alberto Vergara and Sergio Pella for flying in from Italy to attend the event and for all the wonderful owners who attended on the day. A summary of the event has been published in the Manchester Evening News, the article will be soon available to FOCC members.
Both the FOCC, in partnership with the British Cane Corso Society look forward to many more educational days on this magnificent breed as we move forward.
