Owner Code of Ethics

The BCCS promotes good, conscientious Corso ownership.  The Cane Corso, because of its size and temperament, needs owners to be extra vigilant to ensure the public has a positive exposure to the breed.

The following code is required of all members of the BCCS:

"Membership of the club is strictly only given with acceptance and compliance with this and the Kennel Club Code of Ethics and applies whether owner, keeper, or in temporary charge of any dog for any purpose.  All members will accept their responsibility in that they will properly house, feed, water and exercise all dogs under their care and arrange for appropriate attention if and when required, not allow any of their dogs to roam at large or to cause a nuisance to those carrying out official duties when their dogs are away from home ensure that their dogs shall wear properly tagged collars and shall be kept fully leashed or under effective control.  Members will acknowledge responsibility to clean up after their dogs in public places or anywhere their dogs are being exhibited."
